100% recommend here we booked here as the food sounded lovely when looking for a restaurant in that area we booked a few months in advance as we were attending the area for my daughters 21st... i am so glad we did the whole experience with pelgraves was a pleasure everything we mentioned was taken into account we had a lovely booth the decor was spot on romantic, comfy & quirky it caters for everyone even it also has added touches in the toilets which was so nice. The food was absolutely gorgeous portion sizes was huge and so fresh cooked to perfection the staff and manager was so lovely if we lived local it would definitely be somewhere we would go to alot even for a drink. We mentioned it was a birthday when we booked and they brought my daughter a pudding with sparkler and candle we never asked for this it was so lovely we was made to feel so welcome i will definitely be returning and recommending here
I think it's the best offering for anything that isn't curry in the local area. Light, tasty pizza dough, generous toppings. All food clearly homemade with care. I would advise booking. Partner had a steak here once and it was the first steak he had in Long Eaton that he found enjoyable rather than subpar. We have eaten in and had takeaway numerous times and enjoyed it every time. The setting is really cosy and intimate, the staff are friendly and the customer service excellent (friend of mine left an umbrella and they contacted me to let me know and then held onto it for us for a good while until I was able to pick it up) Very reasonably priced, especially when the deal is on. We got burrata, a starter each, a pizza each, one dessert, 2 glasses of wine and 2 cocktails and the total bill was 53.
We accidentally found this place, after the hotel we were staying in told us (very last minute), their restaurant was shut for the evening. What an incredible little place, such a hidden gem! We both had pizzas, dough-licious, the best pizza both of us have ever had! We'll definitely be returning. Thank you to the lovely waiters for their service, and compliments to the chefs!
It was really delicious pizza Margarita and Long (haha) Eaton mess! Pizza is similar to Rudy’s , Long Eaton mess is so good, that I can’t find any similarities in other places The lady owner of this restaurant was very nice, said hello and goodbye like you are guests, not clients It was a bit noisy, but maybe because of many people
First time eating here tonight and it was a lovely experience. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Food was delicious and the best pizza I have ever had. To say it's on our doorstep, I will definitely be back.
What a gem of a place. The decor and atmosphere are lovely and eclectic, the service is really warm and genuine and the food is fantastic, with a great balance of flavours. My only regret is that we didn’t try Pelgraves sooner.
1st time at this local restaurant and certainly won't be the last. Went with 6 work colleagues and all of us enjoyed the delicious food.I had the Duck and have to say.....it's one of the best i've ever had.The attentive service was 2nd to non, the decor was lovely and a little bit quirky. I will certainly be returning for further nights out here in the near future and would certainly recommend others to do so too.
